·               As Senior Internetworking Solutions Architect provided architecture definition for a Service Integration platform for $8MM next-generation IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS).  The architecture encompasses service integration, service management and service execution modules.  The service integration platform is used to deliver enhanced multi-media (voice, video and data) services.  The platform is a technology and vendor independent service delivery mechanism based on protocols such a SIP, SS7 etc.

·               Performed VOIP network analysis (SIP based) for Quality of Service (QoS) parameters- delay, jitter, packet loss and traffic patterns.

·               Developed functional requirements for service execution model for IMS real-time call control processes including resource management, call management, routing engine rules subscriber/service data base interactions and the service logic execution engine functions of the service execution module. The service execution module interacts with the application, audio and video servers in the network to deliver multi-media based services.

·               Interacted with stakeholders including customers, system engineers, software developers and quality assurance team.

·               Developed and Presented end-to-end call flows for service scenarios that include Application Server and Media Server interaction.

·               Provided in-depth analysis of the test plans developed by the customer for a Cisco proprietary VoIP network architecture.

·               Provided requirements, based on the business process rules, for provisioning of Service Orders for Local Number Portability (LNP) received from the Local Exchange Carrier via a Local Service Request (LSR).   The requirements were based on the mapping of various data elements in the LSR to the internal AT&T data.

·               Resolved technical issue, as a liaison to business unit, between the business units and software vendors for various local service initiatives.
